Takuro posts a well deserved “Like A Glove” gif in a story about parking. He thought to use the original from Ace Ventura then thought to himself, “You know, there’s a Porsche SUV in the story, it only makes sense to use a gif from the SECOND movie, where a Range Rover was parked. TO THE GOOGLES!”

Lo and behold, another Jalopnik reader replied to Takuro, with the original gif he was going to use.

Kinja'd!!!

And in the background of that gif? a red Chrysler LeBaron, with white top.

And seeing that Takuro works at a Chrysler dealer in the year 2016, what are the chances that on this day a 1992 LeBaron of exacting color combination would be hoisted on a stall in his shop, mere FEET from where this gif was seen via his computer monitor?

Some call it magic. Others fate.

But its ironic, don’t you think?

Is it a Mitsubishi V6? If it is, a bet a shiny nickel it’s in for a water pump

It is and... technically yes.

Its pretty clean for having 200k on it, someone inherited it and its going off to NY so they want us to put it in tip-top shape. Timing belt and water pump are being done, as is a host of other maintenance items.

I miss mine. ‘95 Green with tan top and interior. Timing belt snapped at 66k, but it was a non-interference engine so just slapped a new one on and kept going. Front-wheel drive fury. Truly the king of K-cars.
